Exchange on sustainability software

Sustainability software has evolved from simple environmental data collection tools into holistic ESG management platforms. For companies and organizations, it can—among other things—create transparency, optimize processes, and provide the foundation for a strategically embedded transformation. That is why we, too, work with AI-based software tools—both for and with our clients.

Regular dialogue with partners and other companies remains central to this process. With this in mind, our project manager Laura Brand - alongside Marlene Dettmer (Sustainability Manager at Büro Wagner) and around 25 other sustainability professionals from various industries - attended the Leadity Circle in Hamburg at the end of May.

The agenda included:

- A welcome reception featuring regional *Franzbrötchen* pastries and an ice-breaking session
- A "Hot Seat" session with Stefan Kauß, Head of Sustainability & Safety at the Bitburger Brewery Group
- A keynote presentation by Michael Fritz, co-founder of Viva con Agua, on WASH and social impact projects
- Breakout sessions addressing current ESG challenges (e.g., supply chain compliance, carbon footprint)

Our takeaways:

👉 Practical insights: Direct glimpses into the sustainability strategies of large and medium-sized enterprises
👉 Peer-to-peer exchange: Sharing experiences and best practices for day-to-day work
👉 Networking: Building long-term connections with ESG experts and peers from other sectors
👉 Application in our own operations: Actionable recommendations and methods to further embed sustainability

An exciting industry event for knowledge transfer and accelerating ESG initiatives.
